"Light a candle for me when I'm gone"

I was looking at pictures of the Tsunami disaster and I found this picture of a Muslim woman durring a candle light vigil for the victims. It really caught my heart.

"The spirit in me greats the spirit in you
I bow to the divine in you.

I honor the place in you
that is of love of truth, and of light.

And when you are in that place in you
and I am in that place in me we are one"

-The meaning of Namaste', an ancient Sanskrit greeting

beautiful post...

Hi Jen, I'm still around and still checking up on your blog. I thought you'd be interested in another blog that I occassionally read. It's a blog that is contributed to by several muslim women. I've learned a lot from it and figure with your interest in religion you'd enjoy it also.
